Very tasty homemade mushroom soup and a 'doorstep' ham sandwich - no fault to find with that. However the table was filthy with tea stains,dollops of jam(?) and crumbs. The service is always with a smile and the tea ever-flowing!! The breakfasts are the best and a challenge even for my appetite. I know it's not immediately obvious to see, but seek and ye shall find a great little cafe with fab food.
